Im getting really sore from it, and i really dont want to quite nursing her. I switch back and forth from nursing to bottle feeding bc of working. and i really dont want to lose the time i have with her when i come home at night. Any ideas on how t stop the bitting????

  • Mom, this is your first discipline issue. When she bites you, immediately pull her off with a firm NO! She will get the message. My daughter used to get an evil look in her eyes and nasty smile just before she bit...

  • Baby cannot bite while she is actually nursing because the tongue covers the bottom teeth/gum when baby is nursing. Watch for her to stop sucking and take her off BEFORE she can bite. Tons of great tips and info at When Baby Bites

If she is smiling when you say NO then she might keep doing it for the attention. You may be better off simply taking her off and setting her down without saying anything.  Every baby is different, you will find what works for you!
