why is the sides and the lower part of back hurt so damn bad?

  • Could be from a couple things. Maybe it's from strain from the baby growing? I would take some tylenol and call your doctor just in case.

  • Depending on how far along you are, it is probably your muscles stretching to support a growing belly. Our abs wrap all the way around and get stretched out to hold the uterus like a hammock... If the pain is really bad, call the advice line for your hospital on safe pain killers to take while pregnant. I believe Tylenol is safe but not Advil....

    Hang in there! Eventually your body will get used to it and the pain will go away.
