breastfeeding question

hello, im 5 months and 3 weeks question is how long should i breastfeed.i heard 1 month and i heard 6 months

  • 2 years?? Wow, that seems a bit long for me. I would say 6 months to a year. But if you feel comfortable with 6 months then you do what's right for you. I intended on breastfeeding my son but he was in a hospital for 3 weeks at birth so it didn't work out for me. You also need to take into consideration if you are new at nursing then there is expected transition period to get used to it. Some mothers give up right away and decide it's not for them. So you should do what is best for you.
