Spit up ? worried

Is it normal for my 1week old baby to spit up from breast feeding? I was told breast fed babies usally are not to spit up much. Could he be eating to much, I know he's getting enough food because he is having the regular BM almost after each feeding. Im really worried about this.

  • try burping him more often during feeding, instead of just at the end.

  • Some babies just spit up a lot, no matter what. Make sure you are letting him nurse as long as he wants on one breast before offering the other so that he gets to the fatty hindmilk. Good info on what is normal what is not with spit up in bf babies at Spitting Up in the Breastfed Baby
