Are there tell-tale signs of an ear ache in your little one?

I think my 10 month old daughter has one.

  • When my son had one he was pulling on his ear a lot.
But they can have the same symptoms with teething.
Some kids only have fever as a symptom and maybe being cranky.

  • they will pull at the ear or rub it and probably be crying all the time

  • See, she is teething for sure. She has been crying ALL day. She didn't pull at her ear any but one time, but she won't let me even touch her left ear. I can touch her right ear though.

  • Does she tug on her ear? Is her ear canal red or inflamed looking? If so take her to the doc.

  • She only tugged on it once and it's not red. There is a little wax in there though. She has a slight fever, but not bad.
