  • oh hun, im so sorry.. if you really cannot keep your child then you should look into adoption. maybe see if a family member or friend could adopt. that way you can still see the baby.open adoptions are difficult but you could still see the baby. but you are not given anything you cannot handle. there are more important things than money. apply for medicaid and food stamps and see if maybe you can get welfare. you have options take advantage of them. that is what they are there for. dont be a shamed of getting help. call a social worker and talk to them that is what they are there for. good luck and we at cafe mom are always here.

  • Medicaide, grants directly from the hospital, maybe even alternative delivery options like a midwife, adoption if you can't directly care for the child after the delivery, lots of adoptions have the adoptive parents pay for the whole pregnancy and delivery...there are lots of options out there for you.

  • anon 09 how rude!
honestly, hun (OP), i guess you can either keep the baby and go on assistance, or give it up for adoption (if you're ruling out abortion, i mean)
there are sites online that let pregnant mothers find parents for their babies...
you can talk to someone about it, too, if that's really what you want to do...
    best of luck!
    *hugs!*
