Cut way back on meat and dairy. Eat a serving of good, organic soy every day (tofu, yogurt, edamame). Drink lots of water, at least 8 8oz glasses a day. Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, in at least 3 different colors. Eat 7 servings of whole grains a day. Eat beans and lentils. If you have not had a bone density test yet, do so now. Take a calcium/magnesium/vitamin D supplement at least every other day. Black Cohosh is great for power surges (hot flashes).
