Family Tree question

My cousins are my son's what? You know how your uncle is your kid's great uncle, so what are your cousins in relation to your children?

  • First cousins once removed!

    First cousins are the children of siblings.  Second and third cousins and so forth are the children of those cousins.  For example the children of first cousins will be second cousins.

    Once removed means not of the same generation.  So the children of second cousins would be a generation removed from the first cousins making them first cousins once removed and their children would be first cousins twice removed.
