how early do you usually start getting breastmilk?

i think mine is coming in, because when i wake up in the morning there happens to be a little wetness around my nipples, i am wondering if at 20 weeks that is normal.

  • What you are describing is colostrum. I had it starting at 22 weeks. Normal :)

Milk comes in 2-4 days after delivery.

  • I had colostrum at about 18-20 weeks with my first, and at around 20-21 weeks with my second. First time around I had no idea it would come in that soon. Many women start lactating around the 4 month mark.
