Did anyone have to replace a fuel pump in there car? IF so how much is it?

  • It depends on the type of car and the year. I had to replace mine and it cost me about 100 dollars but I didnt take it into a shop. My uncle fixed it for me and I just bought the part. If you take it into a shop it is going to be more expensive, they have to take the whole gas tank off to put the new part on.

  • It depends on the car. Some fuel pumps have computer elements attached to them. It makes them more expensive. It was 600 to have mine replaced just recently. I also recommend having it done at a shop. The fuel pump is in the tank and that needs to be dropped in order for the pump to be replaced.
