I am having problems with slow shutter on my camera. I have a Sony Alpha A100. It seems that if there is not enough light in the room I am shooting pictures in and I cannot use my flash (Sanctuary of our church) do I get my pictures to not be blurry and discolored?

  • Use a Tripod so the camera isn't moved at all. You can even buy a remote shutter trigger so you don't have to move it when you touch it. The slower your shutter speed the more still your subjects have to be too.

  • What sort of lens are you using?
