when did you start giving your little ones pancakes, or pieces of it anyways. my son just started the gerber puffs, and loves them. and he gums them really well. he has no teeth yet, but i would love to try new things with him. he is 6 months old, and been on baby food for 2 months. also what about banana pieces?

  • i'm not sure if 6 m/o is a good age yet for table foods, at least foods like pancake, but I didnt offer tablefoods till my son was maybe about 10 m/o. he loved them! I either made small pancakes or ripped them up,. sometimes i offer them plain, sometimes with fruit preserves. I've also made bananas paencakes which he loves. and what I like about pancakes is we can all eat them as a family! If I'm full and my son is still hungry i can simply offer mine to him, or if he is full I take his lol

  • Banana's tend to make babies gassy.. Emma does ok with them mashed up .. I give her pancakes the only thing is they are kinds crunky on the out side so I try to dig out the middle... Emma loves the gerber puffs too! Just try and see how he does I don't put very much syrup on her pancake though. Good luck momma!

  • Pancakes are fine, just make sure that before baby turns one you don't use wheat, soy, dairy or eggwhites. I suppose you could use chickpea or rice flour mixed with breastmilk.

  • I waited until about 9 months because they contain wheat.
