Did your insurance cover circumcision?

When registering at the hospital yesterday they let me know that my insurance would not cover circumcision and that if I was going to have it done I would have to pay out of pocket. I'm not getting him circumcised, but I just thought that this was interesting.

  • yes most insurance companies do. I would call them if you want it done and find out why they wont cover it. They may deem it as cosmetic or an unnecessary medical procedure.
