What do you do when someone invades your personal space?

I am doing a survey for a class. Just curious how you physically act when your space is invaded (ie step back, cross arms ect)

  • I move back. if that doesn't work I will put my arms out and move them away from me and say Sorry, but I have issues with my personal space. That way they don't take offense.

  • I tell them to back their bus up. I"m not moving and they need to leave my space. If I move then I give them control. Not gonna happen. Communication (verbal more than body language) works best for me

  • If I can move I will. If I move and they move with me, or I cant move, I'll politely ask them to back up a little bit, especially if my kids are with me.

  • I move them back.

  • I'm a horrible space invader. My bubble is very small (LOL) so someone literally has to have their nose inches from mine before they are in my bubble. Most people don't do that, but if I'm feeling invaded, I step back.
