is it possible?

to get a false negative at 11 weeks? and why is it that for some reason home pregnancy tests dont work for some women at all no matter how far along they are?

  • i dont know if its possible to get a false negative at 11 weeks but i do know that a home pregnancy test dont work on me till a week or so after my missed period.

  • OF COURSE it's possible!

    Home pregnancy tests (and blood tests) look for a high HCG level, some women, even being pregnant don't have a raised HCG level for quite a while.

    With my son I have 6 neg home tests and 1 neg blood test, no period for 3 months! Finally I went back, had another blood test done and POSITIVE! And when I went to my OBGYN I was almost 14 weeks!
