Do you think its crazy to think about having another kid at 42?

42 seems kinda old to have another kid IMO - what do you think?

  • yes it is crazy, think about how old you will be when the kid graduates high school. why not just adopt?

  • No. Not crazy. Just gives a few more higher medical risks though.

But, if you want a baby. Go for it. Don't let society dictate what age you should be to have a baby.

  • It is a bit risky, but I've known many women who have decided they want another at that age.

  • not crazy...theres alot of risks involved with that so youll be a high risk pregnancy...and it will be harder to get pregnant...but its really up to you older women then 42 have gotten pregnant and had everything be fine

  • Why would that be too old? You're too old when you hit menopause.
Alot of women are getting pregnant at older ages. It does, however, impose higher risks with the pregnancy, but I don't see why someone should be judged by their age of bearing children.

  • That's how old I'll be when I go for my 3rd. So, no, it's not too old IMO. If you feel that way, that's up to you. None of us has the right to judge what is right for another woman.

  • My mom had a baby at 44 and he's 19 months now. Out of all 5 of her kids, he was the biggest=]
I think its ok, risky of course, but as long as it doesn't put you or baby in any serious danger, I say go for it.
