For women with a previous c-section...

This question is probably silly, but I was wondering if the scars from your previous c-section hurt (or were sore) at any time during your following pregnancy??

  • I'm currently pregnant with my second. My C scars definitely are sore and sometimes hurt. In the beginning it seemed like every day and now it is more occasional. It is a weird feeling and makes me paranoid.

  • So far it doesn't hurt at all, of course i'm only 2 months pregnant. I can imagine some general soreness when the skin down there gets stretched but i'm not really worried about it

  • Mine didn't hurt at all with the second pregnancy, but my kids are only 13 months apart so that may have had something to do with it.

  • I'm currently in my 36th week of second pregnancy and just every now and then I feel a kind of snag feeling at the incision area...but, nothing painful. My kids will be 17 months apart. I'm trying for a VBAC this time.

  • I'm 38 wks preggo with #2. I've felt a little discomfort, like a pinching, but nothing unbearable. Oh, and I didn't start feeling that til about 36 wks...and very rarely.
