  • First identify what's got you down & try to change it. If it's not that simple...try to find the silver lining. Best cure something just for you. Nothing big...just something simple like lunch with the girls or mani/pedis with your BFF. And ALWAYS remind yourself : THIS WON'T LAST FOREVER.

  • Well if it's just a mood, and not clinical depression, then there's lots of good things you can do.

    - a nap is like a good reset button on a bad day.
    - exercise releases happy chemicals into your body.

  • Depression can be circumstantial so if it is just a mood then change things. There is also psysiological depression which would need meds but either form of depression can be "snapped out of". You gradually got there. you have to gradually leave the depressed state.

  • If the depression does not lift after a couple of weeks, I hope you will see your Dr. In the meantime, exercise is a good weapon against depression. Take a walk, ride a bike, anything you enjoy that gets you moving.

  • Exercise will raise your serotonin levels... also, avoid carbs/sugars/starches.
