Slight belly pain?

I realize that stretching of the belly is normal in pregnancy. I am 4 weeks along and have noticed a slight pain in my upper right portion of my belly. Is that normal/common? Should I be over concerned or is this just growing pains?

My last pregnancy was in 2001 so it's been awhile for me.

  • How high up? Like above the belly button? If so, then it may not be pregnancy related. If it's right below the belly button then it might be gas. If it was pregnancy related it would be around your pelvis. Growing pains for me were more period like cramping

  • u can go to the doctors and get it checked out...blood work and ultrasound, if the pain gets too bad.

  • My appt for my ultrasound is on the 18th. It just started today and it's not bad...just annoying. Through the same area as my belly button.

  • Not really stabbing. More like a moving aching pain. It's not horrible....just gets on my nerves.
