HOW MUCH SHOULD I CHARGE FOR CHILD CARE IN MY HOME? I'M DOING ANY SHIFTS, HRS AND AGES 0-12. NEED SOME HELP PLEASE

  • Check your state laws first. In our state it's illegal to have a certain amount of children for a certain amount of hours for being unlicensed. Call around to other home day cares and get a quote on how much it is so you can know for your area. Charge less b/c you aren't licensed.

  • Call your local daycares, etc to see what they charge because every city is different. I was watching a 9 month old for $25 per day between 6-8 hours and they provided formula, food and diapers.

  • My 13 year old is a Red Cross certified babysitter and charges $5-8 an hour.
