how much? For the pregos and recently pregos.

How much did you weight before and how much were you recommended to gain? Please be honest. I weighed 216 and the doctor said only 15 pounds. I'm 10 weeks and have gained 3 pounds. I just want to know what your doctors preferred for you body type....please be honest i'm trying to figure out.

For the recently pregos how much did you gain in the end?

So 3 question:

1 how much you weighed before pregnant

2 how much did your doctor recommend you gain

3(appiled to already been pregnant) how much in the end did you gain?

  • My first pregnancy:
    1) I weighed 294 at my first appointment
    2) Doctor recommended that I gain 15 pounds
    3) I weighed 284 on the day I delivered.

I ate lost 25 pounds from morning sickness and then following the diet and exercise suggested by my doctor so I only ended up gaining 6 pounds back. My baby weight a little over 8 pounds and was very healthy.

    This pregnancy:
I weighed 290 at the first appointment. I was in the middle of losing weight and we got a little surprise. :)
I am almost 32 weeks and I've gained 4 pounds.

My doctor has me eating healthy (not restricting calories. Just eating healthy and not eating junk) and exercising everyday.

  • I weighed 162 before getting pregnant.

Doctor said I could gain anywhere between 30-45 lbs.; that was 'normal'.

I gained 45 lbs., but was also 4 days late. I swear I gained more within those 4 days! I've lost most of it though. I have 5 lbs. still lingering, mainly in the excess skin that *was* my flat stomach :)
