If the baby sleeps sitting up in a bouncy seat can it affect his spine vs sleeping laying flat on his back?

  • No it should be fine. I wouldnt have him do it all the time. But as long as he has support for his neck and back he should be ok.

  • No it will not affect his spine. Its alright for your child to be elavated. Helps your childs breathing better than just laying flat on his back.

  • Slumped is no good, but if he is straight up in a bouncy, it can actually be beneficial for the respiratory system, especially during high allergy times and throughout colds.

  • my daughter slept in her bouncy chair for the first like 2 months of her life, that way i could always be near her and get her quick, and her spine is fine, and every night she sleeps in an elevated position because she has allergies so her nose is always running and its better for her to be elevated, i dont think there is anything wrong with your baby sleeping in the bouncy seat
