  • These are the key factors. Location, Economic Stability of the Area, Schools, Check ACT and SAT scores even if you don't have children. (you want to be in an educated area) Do some Comps if you are buying, Neighbors..Neighbors..Neighbors! Check out the neighborhood at all times of day and nite, work force in the area, Religious Preference of the Area, Major employers in the area, Crime Rate, Climate, ...and soooooo much more! LOL

  • Location, location location, yard size, bedroom size, kitchen size, living room size, everything is important. If you can afford to be choosy be choosy. If not figure out what is most important to you and make a desion based on that. For my family the outdoor space is the most important. We need a lot of yard room and lots of outside storage (sheds, and such)
