Mother's Day. I would like to give a gift to three moms at a cookout from my kids. Two of the mom's are their grandparents. What would be a nice gift?

I would like to bring something being from the kids. I don't know why I'm clueless. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

  • I love Willow Tree figurines, they have one for just about every thing. They are simple but say a lot. I don't know if that is any help. :o)

  • Mothers Day is a big deal in our family. We have a big brunch for about 20; all of the non-mothers do the work. Several years ago we stopped buying mothers day gifts; instead, we make a donation to Heifer International. We believe that the best way to honor the mothers in our lives is by helping other mothers help their families. www.heifer.org

  • you could make them a stepping stone or paint a ceramic flower pot. My son made me a stepping stone last year - use a landscape stone, paint it white and then have the kids make a handprint or paint a design on it. The landscape boarders make cute decorations too.
