I am 42, I have had a heart attack and fibromyagia , 3 months in a froe I have had 40 -45 days between periods . With all the other stuff going on I keep forgetting to bring this befor my doc. I am just thinking about it now as it is another 42 days, and yes the three hpts were negitive . Any thoughts or ideas or anything ?

  • There are lots of reasons - thyroid, pre-menopause, cysts ... also, sometimes women only have one ovary that is egg producing, which would cause the "skipping" or long time periods between menstruating.
