What are some good positions for helping the baby drop?

Are there any positions that help coax the baby so his head will drop. My doc said his head is right there and I want it to drop!

  • How far along are you? You can sit on a ball and roll back and forth, squats work, get on all 4's and roll your stomach towards your back. The baby's head will drop when its good and ready. If your not 40 weeks the baby may wait until the day its born to come down like my sister in law. My daughter dropped at 38 weeks and was at a 0 station until I went into labor and then was at a 3 when I pushed the first time.
