  • What is the little boy into? You can get outside toys like shovels and things for that, car, trucks, planes, all kinds of things.

  • Water guns, kick balls, outside toys. Wal Mart has a ton of small toys, like these, for $5 or under.

  • A bubble machine. All kids young and old love them. They have them at walmart in the toys. Be sure to buy extra bubbles and batteries.

  • I would say (I have a 4 year old) something to do with Trains, Cars, Sand, Bubbles, or Sports. My son just got a little golf "set" for his birthday and he loves it. He thinks he's Tiger or something! Oh and anything artsy. My son LOVES to write, color, create. I got Colorwonder things so he can't write on himself, the furniture, etc and he LOVES it!

  • Hot Wheels Cars.

My stepsons can (and do) get HUNDREDS of dollars worth of toys for their birthdays and for holidays, but nothing beats a set of real hot wheels cars. :)
