I need to make a heavy board out of boxes until I can get a piece of plywood from a lumber store so how many stacks a boxes would it take to make a strong betweener for a twin size bed that my Niece sleeps on but my active 4 year old son keeps jumping on until the boxspring is gone sort of speak?

  • I would just put the mattress on the floor with fitted sheet and regular bedding until you can get a thick piece of plywood (at least a 1/4 inch thick). I don't think flattened cardboard boxes would be strong enough to withstand constant jumping!
