what time does your baby wake up?

Just curious about when other babies wake in the morning. My son is almost 6 months and has been sleeping through the night for about a month now. He goes to bed between 9 and 10pm, and wakes around 7/7:30am. The last few mornings he has woke at 6ish. I'm so not a morning person, and would love to find a way to get him to sleep til even 8 or 8:30 would be great. I would put him to bed earlier, but my husband doesnt get home from work til 8, and i hate to put him to bed b4 he gets to see his daddy.

  • she is 4 1/2 months and goes to bed at 8 and is up at 6 -6:30. I tried keeping her up til 1130 so her daddy could see her when he gets home but then she would stay up til 230 am and sleep til 1pm. I'm not a morning person either but you kinda just have to adjust

  • Mine has been sleeping from 10pm-9am since 5 months. so late to bed because daddy doesn't get home untill 9-9:30. I give him dinner a little late then a nice warm bottle before bed.

  • I'm not trying to be mean but sleep is important and children rely on guidance from their parents to get the amount of sleep that they need. If keeping a child up late at night hinders their schedule or keeps them from sleeping at times you know or feel would be better/healthier for them to be asleep at, I wouldn't keep them up.

My son is 5.5 months old. He goes to bed at 8, usually falls asleep around 8:30 and sleeps until about 8. No matter what time I put him down at night, he always wakes up at 8. So I started putting him to bed early so he could get a min of 12 hours.

  • My daughter just turned 10 months yesterday. She goes to bed at about 8pm and wakes up at 730-8am for a bottle, then wants to go back to sleep for an hour or two. Once she is up, she usually doesn't nap, maybe 30 minutes. So from 10am -8pm . . she is usually up and moving. I love this age!

  • Let the baby take the lead at this point, but you can evaluate the amount of nap time he is getting during the day. If you can adjust that, the night sleep might last longer into the morning.
