  • Well I think a good mom puts her child needs b4 her wants, loves her child unconditionally, treats her child with respect, knows how to set boundaries, always there to listen and offer advice, helps their child with schoolwork, teaches their child to reach for the stars and never give up.

  • actually some of the answers make them good co-dependents not necessarily good moms. Love? that depends on the definition of love. I have seen moms beat the crap out of their kids and claim they are doing it bc they "love" them. Patience? a mom can patiently watch a kid screw up his/her life and not actually help. making a child "your world" is co dependent and unbalanced which is unhealthy. Come on ladies you can do better than this. Understanding is a good characteristic so that's a start. Now what else ya got?
