high blood pressure and falling down

okay, odd question, i know.
is there any connection between someone falling frequently (2 or more times per week) and high blood pressure?

  • I had very high BP(189/130) not too long ago. Since a life change, my pressure is now (135/90).

    I'm not a doctor, but I can speak from experience. Do you fall when you rise sharply from a sitting position? Many times I had to hold on to something so that I wouldn't fall. When my BP was high, I often when deaf for a while when I stood up. There were occasions when I went blind for a short while after stood up from a chair.
