Petroleum Jelly for babies?

I got petroleum jelly for my baby shower and they said "oooh you will use it", but idk what for? Anyone know? Probably a stupid question..

  • It is excellent on dry skin, diaper irritation..and prevention of diaper irritation, if you have a circumsized boy it is helpful.

  • Owl Feather I never knew that you could use petroleum jelly for cradle cap. My daughter has case of cradle cap ever since she was a month old and shes almost a year old. I have been useing the disney stuff and that seems to be working well after 3 months of useing it, so thank you very much for that information. Happy Mothers Day you all.

  • It's good for keeping your skin soft and it will help to keep cradle cap under control. A lot of people use it for lubricaton during sex too.
