Question for co sleepers

Did you ever have any trouble switching your children from your bed to their own?

  • No. I always put her in the crib for naps. At 14 months I decided it was time for her to be in her own crib. She fussed the first day or two, but other than that, no problems.

  • Nope. I used a very gentle method of getting him to sleep in his own room, allowing for him to get used to the idea and secure in knowing that I'm always here for him, even if not in his room. And he's always welcome back in my bed, so long as he follows the rules about sleeping in my bed.

  • Yes, my youngest child slept with us for a while, then I had to make him sleep in his own bed. every time he got in to my bed I had to take him back to his own bed.
