  • My doctor has said its safe to have two cups of coffee a day with out harming baby. Drinking more wouldnt harm baby, but could give you and possibly baby headaches. I use to love coffee. I quit drinkin most caffiene with my First pregnancy, but drank some ice coffee while Breastfeeding. Now that I'm pregnant and brestfeeding I don't have caffiene anymore just because it affects me more so now that I have a fourteen month old, a fetus and myself depending on what I eat. But a cup or two should be fine.

  • i asked my dr about this because im a huge energy drinker... he said one energy drink is fine... the one i drink has less caffeine than a cup of coffee does... so i have that! :) not regularly though, but if i feel like one ill get one.. otherwise.. just some iced cold water lol

  • Water! Being even the teeniest bit dehydrated can leave you feeling really sleepy. That said, when my daughter was three months old and past colic, I went back to one double-shot of expresso in the morning.

  • As long as your baby isnt senstitive to caffiene then drink your coffee! If you drink caffiene and baby shows extra fussiness or colic symptoms then you know you shouldnt have caffiene anymore.

  • I drink decaff cause I am used to the taste of coffee. Even though I just stopped breastfeeding I still am on decaff because I found it helps me sleep better @ night and I no longer have the tummy aches I got from the caffiene.
