What would you serve with chicken kabobs?

I am planning on doing chicken kabobs for our Memorial Day picnic, but am a little stumped on what to serve with them. When we have them for dinner I just do rice, but I feel like that isn't enough for a picnic. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • I usually make a tossed salad, and either baked or mashed potatoes, another good option would be potato salad...

  • Regular picnic sides should work- potato salad, slaw, baked beans, corn on the cob if you can get it this time of year- watermelon and cantaloupe wedges- chips, sodas and/or beer- maybe hotdogs for youngsters who may not want the chicken. How about cheese and crackers. :) Have a great time!

  • Pasta salad or rice would be my choice. Add fruit or the corn on the cob was a good idea too.
