Does the "Lemon Law" or any other Act, in Ohio, apply to used cars?

  • Apparently it does. If you buy a used car from a dealer (it has to be from a dealer), it's covered under Lemon Law for 31 days... Make sure you read the fine print in your contract though.... Some dealers put "As Is" or "7 Day Warranty". If your contract says that, Lemon Law is void.

  • Most used cars do say "AS IS" therefore Lemon Law wouldn't apply. In my state only New Cars are covered

  • it depends on how soon you discovered it was a lemon. It is my understanding that you have at least 3 days and the rest varies from state to state
