i searched six stores including two walmarts until i finally found one for 15 bucks at hallmark and it was their last one! Why is saving not promoted for our youth today?

  • I have no idea...Tristan busted Emily's piggy bank that she got when she was born and I can not find another nice big one! WTF...

I wonder the same thing! I had a piggy bank when I was little and all my money went in it.

  • Actually, there was a really neat one I read in a parents or parenting magazine a while ago. Here, I found the link,

It has four compartments, for save, spend, donate, and invest. it's to teach kids financial responsibility.

But when I put in "piggy banks+parents" lots of results came up. You should check it out. Hope it helps!

  • JCPenneys seem to always have a nice selection on sale at our local store. State sponsored 529 plans are a great option too!

  • I actually bought it for my daughter's first birthday party i want everyone to sign it and maybe they can put a little cash in *wink wink* but i thought it would be a nice momento for her and we get a little money for her every now and then like a dollar as a present for her and i would like to start saving them for her in her piggy bank....
i just can't believe that no one had them...and i got hallmarks' last one it was hidden behind something on a shelf but the sales lady remembered it and gave it to me

  • I wanna know why they are all breakable. I have two from when I was little and they are unbreakable.

  • Don't go to big stores. Look at small gift shops and or florist. If you get to know your local shop owner they will usually let you place an order from catalog if they don't have what you need.
