do you really need a recomendation from your old landlord?

well we found a new place and the only thing holding us back is our landlords recomendation they've been calling him aswell as i and he has yet to return the form

  • Most places do require a recomendation from former landlords. You should call him and ask what the hold-up is.

  • I would go to the old landlords house/office and point blank ask him and maybe take a blank form with you for him to fill out if he uses the excuse that he lost the form. Most large complexes do require it, but it is not a law that they have it (at least not in our state).
