Lactose Intolorence

I've got a friend who ended up being lactose intolorant after her first pregnancy, and it just stuck. Has this happened to anyone else? Does it go away eventually? What if you get pregnant again?

  • There are OTC tablets you can take that are safe for lactose intolerance.

I did notice that mine became worse after having my baby but as long as I take the tablets or avoid dairy I'm fine. I switched to a lower fat milk which helped a lot.

  • Plant based calcium is better. Here is a great article: http://www.pcrm.org/health/prevmed/building_bones.html
