which pro-biotic is best for a 5 year old with constipation?

We have tried everything from high fiber diet to miralax. I think we are just masking a bigger issue and I would like to try a pro-biotic. My daughter eats tons of fruits and veggies and nothing seems to help.

  • Yogurt, or they make a powder pro-biotic that you can put in their food...I forgot the name.

  • Get a real yogurt with real germs, like stoneyfield; soy or coconut would be best.
    Cut back on, or eliminate, meat and dairy.
    No simple grains, only whole grains
    Lots of water; easy on the sugar
    Beans and lentils.
    no bananas
    at least 1/2 of an avocado every day.

  • Try warm prune juice. Put bran in foods. We use some natural supplements that would be helpful. Message me if you want more info.
