  • i think that there is actually not enough in that statement to get a real answer, how tall are you? do you take vitamins?what do you eat?

  • It depends on how tall you are. Do you feel healthy? Do you eat healthy? You should talk to your doctor about if your weight is healthy or not.

  • It also depends on what she means by unhealthy- does she mean you look sickly, or you have no energy, or your attitude needs work... something like this? If you look really pale and thin and have no energy, it could be that you are anemic.

  • If you have a normal amount of energy and are eating healthy foods, then you are probably fine.
Some suggestions for a healthy diet: drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day; eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day; eat 7 servings of whole grains a day. Eat beans, lentiils and tofu. Stay away from junk food. Do well in school and make your baby (and you) proud!!

  • At 5'3" and 112 lbs, you are ok but a little on the light side. If you are worried, talk to your doctor--as I said before.

  • Perhaps you should see a physician for a complete physical to get a better idea of your overall health.
A physician will check your height, weight, BMI, vital signs, do an external exam of your internal organs, and send you to a lab for complete blood work. The physician may also recommend you to schedule a pap exam if it has been a year or more since your last one, and he or she may refer you to a specialist for any particular problems you may be experiencing.
Having a complete physical, even when you feel well, is good to have so that your physician has a baseline of your overall health. Future physicals and sick visits can be compared to your health at the physical.
    I wish you well.
