Yes you can say that. The main difference is that Braxton Hicks are irregular and they go away when you drink water or change your physical activity. With early labour contractions actually walking may make them worse and drinking water doesn't help either. In general Braxton Hicks are supposed to be painless ( rather tightening your muscle than pain) but they may be quite uncomfortable especially closer to EDD.
yeah...they come and go when you are somewhat past the middle of your pregnancy...and they dont hurt either...some might be stronger then the last but if your contractions are the same time apart...then you might not be having braxton hicks...
