How do I get rid of heartburn besides Tums, Rolaids, etc.?

  • whenever you fin dout what works let me know! When i was pregnant with both my kids i had it everyday i was pg! we are trying again and that is the one thing i am not looking forward to!

  • Just make sure that you aren't laying down right after eating. Also you can eat raw potato. I know gross but it helps.

  • this is going to sound crazy but i swear it works!! i'm 22 wks pregnant and couldnt find anything to help with heartburn except for this...


    1 teaspoon of regular mustard!!! give 2 or 3 minutes and BAM!!! it's gone!!!

  • whole milk helps but the best is sodium bicarbonate or tums. here is a simple nasty tasting recipe but it works just pinch your nose.
    1 8 oz glass of cold h2o
    2 tablespoons baking soda
    mix well and chug you can add it to juice like apple juice in stead of water or add a lil sugar
