Next checkup for my son....?

My son is 19 months old, and the last time he went to the pediatric for a checkup was when he was about 15 months... when should i bring him in again for another checkup? thanks

  • I think there are some shots he may need at 18 months...if you're not one of "those" against vax.

  • We had one at 18 months then at 2 and a 2 1/2 year coming up. After this one it will be every year.

    OP If you are vaccinating then there are some that they recommend they get around 18 months. If you are not or are vaccinating on a delayed schedule then you go when you feel it is time. My children go to the doctor at 6 months old and 1 year old and then once a year after that.

  • 18 months should have been his next appointment but it's no big deal if you missed it as long as he isn't sick. You can still make one now or just wait till he is two.
