  • My cousin is a dentist and gave me great advice when I had awful morning sickness. Yes, vomiting causes tooth decay if you allow your stomach acid to stay on your teeth. Immediately after vomiting, rinse your mouth out with plain water. DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD. The toothpaste and brushing motion will weaken your enamel even further. Rinse your mouth out with water and then, 5 or 10 minutes later, brush your teeth. Hope you feel better soon!
