Was Elizabeth Edwards being greedy, when she allowed John to run knowing the affair could be outted?

But she just wanted to take that chance on living in the WH and being first lady?

  • I could totally see the title of First Lady being an influencing factor. Not saying it WAS. But I could see that.

  • I wouldn't assume it was all greed as her motivation, but it wouldn't surprise me if some small amount of that was in the mix.

  • No, him having an affair doesn't preclude him from being a good president...although the fact that they didn't just come out with it hurt them in the end, in more ways then one...
