  • No one can safely answer that question for you. Your age, ht, and wt are all imperative factors to figure that out. It makes a big difference if you are extrememly overweight, under weight. If you are anemic etc. You family Dr is the best person to ask this advice from.

  • the "average" that means non-breast feeeding gal that weighs aboy 140 and is about 5'4" need about 1800 calories a day. breast feeding uses more. It take 3500 caolories More/less ot gain/ lose a pound og body weight. Breast feeding is not the time to starve yourself! Just eat healthy choices so your baby will get the most nurtion. You will increse your metabolism and lose weight bresast feeding anyway if you do it this way.
