  • I did not know they give that through WIC, interesting. You can use it in many recipe's, it can be a good substitute for milk in a lot of dishes, you can make a lot of various types of desserts with it (this is where I use it the most, like fudge, and cakes). I'd get on a site like recipezaar (I enjoy this site), you can search my ingredient.

  • I use it in my homemade mac and cheese.

  • It can be used in anything you use bottled milk for- you'd dilute it with water. It can be used in place of half and half. For thicker puddings, for soups, for mac and cheese as Imacafemom said. It does have a different flavor than fresh milk, I feel, so I'd probably not use it on cereal, but it could be used as a creamer in coffee. My grandfather used it in his coffee and also in his cereal.

  • My WIC actually has little pamphlets with recipes in it. See if yours has that. It has a few recipes that use evaporated milk.

  • Use it to make pudding pops by adding it to a regular size box of pudding and then freezing it in paper cups or popsicle containers.
    Make pumpkin or cream pies.
    Homemade mac & cheese
    Use to make cream soups
Use it instead of water when making jello.

  • Evaporated milk makes awesome ice cream and fudge. I also cut it with water about half and half to make gravy.
