Are there any physical or personality traits you hope/hoped your kids won't get?

I'm hoping my daughter doesn't get my family's overweight gene. Everyone in her dad's family is thin, most of my family is obese.

I also didn't want her to get my hands or feet, but alas, she did.

  • I hoped my son didn't get the bobble head gene LOL ( My hubby & his oldest son both had big bobble heads as babies/kids that they of coarse grew into ) but he did!

I pray he don't get my family's health problems ( we got bad heart conditions that run in our family ). He got most his daddy's features/traits/etc. hes adorable though! LOL

  • I hope the boys get my height. (my husband is 5'9" and is the tallest in his family!)

I hope they get my common sense and my husband's book sense (he's a smart guy, but not a lick of common sense does he possess!)

I hope none of them get my husband's disability, but we won't know until they're older.

  • I have (as does my entire family) an extremely bad temper. Think: throwing things, kicking things, yelling.....basically a temper tantrum a two year old would throw. I've really been working on it. Anywho, I hope my son doesn't get that. My husband is abundantly patient. He's never even raised his voice in over 5 years. I'm hoping our son is more like that than like me lol.

  • Rachel24517: Oh, believe me, a uni-brow isn't that bad. My daughter's got one that I shave every few weeks. Her dad is Italian and veeery hairy. Atleast we know she probably won't be having any female balding issues! :)
