How do you know when to take a pregnancy test while breastfeeding?

My husband and I made a few mistakes by my husband forgetting I was not on birth control and shazaaming inside.

I am 2 months post partum and haven't had a period. I tried a test and it was negative. How can I know that is accurate? When should I take a test?

  • You might have enough protection from nursing. Get on the mini-pill or some other form of bc to have more assurance that you won't get pregnant. I would wait another few weeks, if you have no symptoms then don't worry.
